Money always seems to be in short supply for sports teams, drama clubs, school bands and other groups. New athletic shirts to lift the morale of the football team do not always make the cut on the budget. The drama world has great meetings for students to compete with others around the state or the country, but those in charge of the budget do not always see the importance of these activities. The school band might get great exposure in a big parade, but the people holding the purse strings might think this is frivolous.
Stingy people in charge of the budget do not have to eliminate participation in these great activities because there are some great fund raising plans to secure extra money. These are tested by the groups that use them, and every other group can benefit from their experience.
